Traveling with friends is cool, but how about traveling with your siblings and cousins! We are back with another of our stories! We had this chance of planning a trip for Mr.Sushovit and his sister Miss Ishani. It was yet another surprise trip and here is their experience:
I(Sushovit) saw an advertisement on Instagram but I was at my office and there was not enough time to go into details. Luckily, I came across the survey form which is honestly very simple to fill. I then waited for someone to get back to me. It was really good that the form was simple and all the important details were later discussed over call in depth when I had the time.
Let us hear more from Sushovit about their recent Himachal trip with WanderTrust.
Ans. It was good. We liked how there are multiple options available with the flexibility to fit into anyone’s budget. I kind of like surprises, and I had also mentioned that I don’t want to go to a beach destination or to the central part of India. So all our preferences were also taken care of like my likes, dislikes and so on.
Ans. Yes. When the destination was revealed, I was actually very pleasantly surprised because I had been wanting to go to Mcleodganj for a while, also I had heard of Bir but I did not know about the paragliding experience there. Three destinations were chosen for us Bir, Mcleodganj, and Dalhousie. I loved the first two, Dalhousie was a small town but again we loved the beauty of the entire package. It was a very carefully planned trip with a very detailed itinerary. Even later, there was buffer time as the Dalhousie sightseeing got over early, and I wanted to try and visit Amritsar, WanderTrust gave us the flexibility to change the plan in the last moment and thus visit Amritsar. I loved how this plan change was allowed by the team and arrangements were made quickly.
Ans. The stay was at backpackers’ hostels. Both the accommodation were cool places to hang around and we enjoyed.
Ans. We have a lot of good memories. But the best one would be the paragliding experience from Bir. I am an adventure junkie, and I really felt on top of the world that I did it.
Ans. There was no such inconvenience but there was one hostel which was situated at quite a good height and there were many stairs, I hate staircases, but I had to take all luggage on my own using the same. I would rate it a 7 or 8/10 as there is of course, always a scope for improvement.
So another trip done well by WanderTrust. Loved reading about this experience? Fill our survey form and get your trip planned in your budget today be it with your loved one or your friends and family, or maybe you could go on a SOLO trip!
