They say you aren’t really a couple if you haven’t travelled together. Well, this power couple seems to be living up to the ideology and provided WanderTrust with an opportunity to plan a surprise trip for them. Let’s delve in and find out what unique things Gayatri and her partner got to cherish during their stay in the serene state of Uttarakhand.
Hearing about WanderTrust from a friend, Nishita, who had previously planned a surprise trip with us, Gayatri and her partner were more than excited. Nishita had previously mentioned to them that her trip turned out to be amazing with a perfect location, and everything was within her budget. She added that everything was tailor-made according to her preferences, which made the couple “trust WanderTrust”. Well, sounds like our PR team is really doing their job.
What really thrilled our adventurous couple was the location itself. According to Gayatri, they had specifically asked for a beach or a mountainous location and the Dhanaulti-Rishikesh-Mussoorie trip was just perfect to them.

When asked what special moment did the couple get to experience during their trip, Gayatri brought up one particular event. She mentioned that they got to stay in a tent, where the temperature was 12 degrees until afternoon.
It was probably off-season so there were not a lot of people there, which made everything quiet and calm. Right after 4 pm, the temperature suddenly used to drop to 5-6 degrees, and it was really chilling! We could actually see the snow-clad mountains and we had never seen such a scenic beauty before. During the evening, it used to get so dark that even if someone sneaked up on us and tried to kill us, no one would know.
Well, the last part wouldn’t be nice for our company, but yes, we appreciate that Gayatri and her partner loved the choice of our location and found it to be “unique, calm and relaxing”.
Gayatri even mentioned that this trip was different and unique from the other trips that they had been on before. The surprise factor actually worked out for her, and that WanderTrust had planned everything end-to-end for them. The couple found their hotel in Mussoorie to be “awesome” and found Dhanaulti to be a “great place with a helluva view”. They enjoyed the Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh, and added that they had never experienced so much peace and silence in their lives.
The couple pointed that the itinerary was the best part of it. “What to do, where to go, where to eat” – everything was just perfect to them. She also mentioned that –
As foodies, both of us wanted to explore new and good food. WanderTrust’s suggestions were really really lip-smacking, and both of us really appreciated the choices. We particularly loved Ayurpak, the food was awesome !

Every trip that we plan for our guests is etched in our hearts but we always strive to do better. While we appreciate these positive memories, we also work on any inconveniences that are caused to them. Gayatri did share one such experience.
Everything was perfect but one. Our driver wasn’t really aware of the routes and was relying more on GPS and Google maps. So while returning he took an alternate route as depicted by GPS, and not the one mentioned to us beforehand. We had a flight from Delhi, and we reached right at the last moment. Luckily, we made it but it was a roller-coaster ride for us throughout.
Both Gayatri and her partner found their overall experience to be very adventurous, thrilling, serene and in one word-perfect. Both of them were actually shocked to be on a trip planned by a 3rd person tailored completely according to their needs, as if WanderTrust knew them in and out right from the beginning. Our team was definitely overjoyed to hear that. We were as “thrilled” to plan this trip for the adventurous couple as they were to experience it !
