Travelling has always opened our heart, mind and soul. It has familiarised us with varying cultures, introduced us to unique habits and increased our worldly knowledge. As informative, refreshing and unique each of our travel experiences can be, each one of us will agree that an almost invisible virus Covid-19 has left us all stranded in our homes, and yearning to go out. Simply go out – that’s it.
The entire world is facing a crisis that it has never seen before. Amidst all the lockdowns, protests, innovation and unending lists that scream productivity, travelling is one experience that is irreplaceable. Neither a 1M+ app nor an online bootcamp can ever replicate what travelling has to offer. Unless, of course, teleporting becomes a thing.
Right from filling our survey form to returning super-fresh from a trip, everything makes travelling unique. More than why we travel, what we miss about travelling is what makes it more memorable. Let’s find out if what we miss is what you miss too.
You certainly can’t get over your last travel experience. Given the situation, we miss a ride to the other end of the city too, but there are certain things about travelling that simply don’t get off our mind. “What if there’s a famous club ? I would certainly need this dress”. ” Oh, I almost forgot this pair of shorts for the beach”. “Just this new shirt that I bought”. Well, you got it right !
And then an excellent effort to have just the optimum number of items for the suitcase to latch properly. Well, that’s not all. What about all the over-shopping that happened right before this exercise ? Rings a bell, doesn’t it ?
Travelling to a new place keeps all of us on the edge of our seats. The new places, routes and sceneries keep our senses super-duper active. From getting the window seat during our travels, to relishing the sunrise and the sunsets. From a chance to explore the next destination, to clicking pictures and posting them on social media platforms – we miss it all. After all, who visits a new place every other day ?
Well, while the only thing you can do is think of these journeys, why not relish a few from our previous travellers’ trips right here?
New food attracts every one of us. And the food of every new place definitely binds us most to that travel experience. What makes a travel experience even more memorable is the opportunity to meet new people and make new friends. The chance to listen to people’s experiences and to possibly earn the treasure of our life, definitely counts as a miss-me during world pandemic memory, doesn’t it ? Well, till this all gets fine, why not follow WanderTrust on Instagram to stay tuned and pack your bags the moment it is possible to!
All this travel down memory-lane makes us crave for a surprise trip even more. We don’t know when will this pandemic end but travelling is gonna be the first thing that people would want to experience after all this pandemonium. That sense of accomplishment on completing a trip, and that desire to travel and explore the world is gonna run through our bones once again very soon !
